The protection of our applicants' personal information is of utmost importance to us.
We process personal information only in compliance with the applicable data protection requirements, in particular the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) (“PDPA”).
In the following you will find information about us and our Data Protection Officer. In addition, we provide an overview of the processing of your personal information and your rights in relation to data processing.

Data Processing of Applicants
As part of the application process, we process personal information that you provide to us in connection with your application.
We process our applicants' data for the following purposes:
Carrying out the application procedure, in particular validating applications, contacting applicants and conducting interviews to assess and select suitable candidates;
Forwarding the application documents to companies where a position is to be filled that corresponds to the position for which the applicant has applied and it is to be expected that he/she would also have applied for this position if he/she had been aware of it. In this case, the receiving company will inform the applicant immediately upon receipt of the documents. The applicant's application documents will not be passed on to third parties without authorization;
Retention of documents for evidence purposes for the possible enforcement, exercise or defense of legal claims in the event of non-employment.
The following categories of personal information are processed for the above-mentioned purposes:
Master data (name, date of birth, nationality, place of birth, country of birth, marital status)
Contact data (private address, email address, telephone number)
Application data (contents of application documents, in particular photo, CV and certificates, contents of written (including electronic) correspondence regarding the application)
Process-related data (contents of examination notes, perceptions of job interviews, feedback and assessments)
The provision of this data is not required by law or contract. You are not obliged to provide it. However, if you do not, it will not be possible to carry out an application procedure and, if necessary, to employ you.
Analysis by Human and Artificial Intelligence Tools
As part of the application process, the data you provide may be analyzed both by human recruiters and by artificial intelligence models. These AI tools assist in processing applications more efficiently, for example by identifying relevant qualifications, skills, and experience.
Important: No decisions on applications are made solely on the basis of automated processing. Final assessments and hiring decisions are always made by human recruiters.
Legal Bases
Section 24 (3) PDPA – implementation of pre-contractual measures
Section 24 (4) PDPA – evidentiary purposes (enforcement, exercise or defense of legal claims)
Section 24 (5) PDPA – transfer of data, consideration for future job offers
Retention Periods
In case of hiring, data is transferred to the personnel file (see employee privacy notice).
If you consent, we will also store your application data for up to 18 months (or until earlier withdrawal of consent) after completion of the application process in order to consider you for future job offers.
Without consent, data is retained for 6 months after completion of the application procedure for evidentiary purposes.
Rights of Data Subjects
You have the following rights under the PDPA:
To request information about your personal information processed by us;
To demand immediate correction of incorrect or incomplete information;
To request deletion of your personal information unless processing is required by law, for reasons of public interest, or for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims;
To request restriction of processing where the accuracy of the data is contested, the processing is unlawful but deletion is refused, or the data is required for legal claims;
To receive your personal information in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to request its transfer to another controller;
To revoke your consent at any time, preventing us from further processing based on that consent;
To lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Thailand, this is the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC).
Right to Object
If your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal information for reasons relating to your particular situation or for direct marketing. In the latter case, you have a general right to object, which we will implement without the need to specify a particular situation.
If you wish to exercise your right of revocation or objection, you may simply send an email to dataprivacy@live-and-work-in-thailand.com.
